Who are The Larches?

A band formed at the start of the year with little aspirations yet gained a strong following and a lot of support and enthusiasm from the local scene, slowly but surely growing out of the teeside area

Who are your biggest inspirations?

Acid Bath, Queens of the Stone Age, IDLES, Arctic Monkeys, Black Flag, The Strokes, Pantera, Kyuss, Korn, Fontaines D.C

How did you start making music?

I guess it all started in a certain shed we call ket shed. We would regurlarly to jam in there and our jams slowly evolved into actual song.

What have the band been up to recently?

Mostly recording and writing. Focusing on changing the sound a little bit and making ourselves more unique.

Earliest musical memory?

None of us could even tell you – we’ve always loved music.

What kind of people do you want to listen to your music?

Fans of many artists could enjoy our music, I feel we have songs for everyone – because we’re too inconsitent with what genres we write in haha!

What is the bands dream gig line up?

I feel like to support Arctic Monkeys would be funny, as we originally started out as a two piece Arctic Monkeys cover band

Where do you see yourself in two year?

We’d like to see ourselves gigging all about the UK if possible

What have you got coming up in the future?

We have a EP coming out very soon, probably the start of next year. As soon as that comes out we’re gunna be straight on recording!

Wingz of the Monkey, Mascara’s Lies, Beatnik
